Falling gracefully to Earth,

blanketing everything with glistening whiteness enveloping all

As the world slumbers they peacefully invade,

billions of them unnoticeably unique

Some hold them in the highest reverence,

while others curse their existance

The only feature that truly sinks deep into bone as teeth clatter in endless cacophany

While children desperately wish for their descent,

adults groan and  slowly work to disposing them like a yearly pestilence that plagues their daily affairs

Such heated contention for such little things,

Gracing us with their inanimate presence as they drift in the wind to be forgotten once again.
